Serengeti Breweries Ltd (SBL) operates exclusively in Tanzania and is the 2nd largest beer company with a market share of 17%. It is an integrated demand/supply business with 2 operational breweries in Dar and Mwanza, and a third one being built in Moshi, which is situated in the northern part of the country near the Kenyan border. SBL’s flagship brand is Premium Serengeti lager, which accounts for 85% of SBL sales volumes. The other beer brands are Uhuru and Kick. In addition SBL produces and markets Vita-Malt.

EABL has recently acquired a major stake in SBL in Tanzania and is currently integrating the business to EABL/Diageo standards. Resourcing is a critical enabler to ensuring a seamless integration and business continuity going forward.
Financial:

The coordination and execution of all marketing A&P budgets assigned towards the deliver of brand visibility, POS material BTL (Below the line)

Market Complexity:

SBL operates in a competitive environment and in a vast geography. The main player in the beer industry is Tanzania Breweries Ltd. (TBL), a subsidiary of SABMiller, who until recently were a third party manufacturer of EABL brands Tusker, Pilsner and Guinness. As a result of the cessation of the agreement between TBL and EABL, there is heightened competitive activity in that market.

Leadership Responsibilities:

The role has Divisional Operation Managers, CPAE – Beer/Malt and Spirit, Visibility and Key Accounts manager and market intelligence reporting into it.
The job holder is expected to lead, direct, motivate, train and coach Customer Marketing team by setting and monitoring clear performance objectives for all team members.
The job holder is required to provide service to the entire marketing team via engagement and tracking reports and to provide service to all the demand business Sales Units via engagement and support.

Purpose of Role:

To manage the processes and the coordination between the sales and marketing teams, drive the companies customer marketing agenda BTL (Below the line), pursue improved consumer experiences in the on and the off trade, drive the planning and implementation of the company's BTL brand plans, objectives and strategies through effective joined up business planning and steward the engagement with the customers and influence the way the business executes in trade via the commercial planning process, brand strategies and game plans as well as the sales team engagement program.

Accountabilities

Commercial planning and coordination of all trade and BTL activities across the business.
Trade strategy development, entrenchment in the commercial planning process
Merchandise / POS identification, placement co-ordination, design and procurement.
Sales driver programs development and execution
Stewardship of the measurement and evaluation of programs executed in trade
The role is responsible for the complete stewardship and execution of the total SBL BTL A&P budget in Tanzania.

Qualifications and Experience Required:


Qualifications
Graduate preferable in a business related field
Formal business qualification ideal; MBA (Preferred)

Experience
At least seven (7) years experience in a similar role
Extensive business experience gained at a senior level in a multinational corporate environment, with proven capabilities in FMCG industry and related business issues such as brand management or brand financial management, production, logistics; Risk management techniques; Strategy development and execution; Business consulting; and Project Management .

Server Administrator

Responsibilities:

• Plan, deploy, configure and maintain servers, administrative responsibility for server
• Operate and administrate database server and back office server (MS Win 2008/12, MS SQL, MS Exchange etc.)
• Server patch management, scripting (e.g. log in scripts), user administration (Active Directory)
• Install and ensure daily backup performance
• Plan and execute disaster recovery and normal recovery procedures, visual control of hardware; equipment - ensure uptime of server
• Maintain and update system and network procedure documentation
• Proactive analysis of logging data to help to prevent system down time
• Monitor logging data and report system operating figures and irregularities regularly - communicate system or network events, troubleshoots problems and issues and escalate within organization
• Install and manage data center racking, cabling, power, servers and storage devices

• Design server resources concept and create lifecycle plan for servers
• Transfer knowledge to IT colleagues

Qualifications:

• MS Office, network connections), patch management, scripting, user administration
• MSSQL server administration
• Advanced knowledge of Windows Active Directory Network environment, DNS and DHCP
• IT security tools and methods (firewall is, VPN, TCP/IP)
• Backup and recovery procedures (sql-database server, operating systems)
• Problem solving, analytical and process oriented
• Disciplined approach towards daily operations and documentation
• Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and orally in English

• Willingness to travel to bank branches throughout the country for installation and administration of server

Private Health Laboratories Board (PHLB), is the Government Institution under the Ministry of Health, Community Development, Gender, Elderly and Children which registers and manages all Private Health Laboratories in Tanzania (Mainland), Vacancies exist at the Board`s Head Office in Dar es Salaam and applications from suitably qualified and competent persons are invited to fill the following posts:-

1.    Laboratory Quality Assurance Officer (1 post)
Duties and Responsibilities
•    To implement activities involved in Laboratory Quality Assurance Framework, Laboratory Standard Guidelines, training curriculum and modules so that they meet International standards requirements.
•    To monitor quality of health Laboratory Services in supporting the provison of essential intervention health packages in the private laboratories.
•    To work towards Accrediting health laboratory through intenetionally recognized accrediting board.
•    To document all laboratory quality activities including submission of reports to relevant authority.
•    To liaise with national laboratory quakutt ststens coordinator on all matters conceming private health laboratories quality systems.
•    To monitor all EQA results and provide feedback on the effectiveness and performance of private health laboratories nationwide.
•    To perform competence assessment to laboratory staff.
•    To perform any other relevant duties as may be assigned from time to time by Registrar.

Qualifications and Experience
•    Medical laboratory technologist or medical laboratory scientist from recognised institutions and registered by health laboratory practitioners council.
•    Working experience of three years implementing quality management system (QMS) the quality assurance officer will report direct to the Registar-Private Health Laboratory Board.

2.    Medical Health Laboratory Authorized Inspector (1 post)
Responsibilities
•    To monitor all private health laboratories in Tanzania Mainland.
•    To inspect health laboratories, health Laboratory products and supplies countrywide.
•    To prosecute offenders by taking in implementing the Act 10 of 1997 and laboratory regulations at national.
•    To coordinato preparation of samples for quality assessment, analyze results and disseminate the report.
•    To perform any other duties assigned by the registrar from time to time.

Qualifications and Experience
•    Medical Laboratory Technologist or Medical Laboratory scientist registered by health laboratory practitioners council
•    Working experience of three years.

As a medical laboratory authorized inspector she/he will report to the Registrar – Private Health Laboratories Board.
