Head of State has also transferred five personalities to new duty stations while seven others have retained their regions. In the new appointments, Mr Paul Makonda, who was Kinondoni District Commissioner (DC) has been appointed Dar es Salaam Regional Commissioner, replacing Mr Saidi Meck Sadiki, who has been transferred to Kilimanjaro region.
According to a statement from the Directorate of Presidential  Communications, Dr Magufuli has also moved former Dodoma RC, Ms Chiku  Galawa, to lead the newly-established Songwe Region.
She will be replaced by Mr Jordan Rugimbana, who has been transferred  from Lindi Region.Education and Vocational Training, Anne  Kilango-Malecela who has been appointed RC for Shinyanga Region.
Others are Dr Kebwe Stephen Kebwe who was former Deputy Minister for  Health and Social Welfare who now becomes RC for Morogoro and former  Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office (Regional Administration  and Local Government), Aggrey Mwanri who has been appointed RC for  Tabora region.
The new faces in Dr Magufuli’s list also include Martine Shigela  (Tanga), Anthony Mataka (Simiyu), Brigadier General (rtd) Emmanuel  Maganga (Kigoma), Major General (rtd) Salum Mustapha (Kagera) and Major  General (rtd) Ezekiel Kyunga (Geita).
Also in the list are Daud Ntibenda (Arusha), John Mongella (Mwanza),  Amina Masenza (Iringa), Joel Bendera (Manyara), Halima Dendegu (Mtwara),  Rehema Nchimbi (Njombe), Engineer Evarist Ndikilo (Coast) and Said  Mwambungu (Ruvuma).
Former Mwanza RC Magesa Mulongo has been transferred to Mara region to  replace Commissioner of Police (rtd) Zelothe Steven who has been  transferred to Rukwa region. Former Kilimanjaro RC Amos Makalla has been  moved to Mbeya region.
Dr Magufuli has in the new line-up axed prominent personalities.
They include former Singida RC, Dr Parseko Kone who will now be replaced  by Engineer Mathew Mtigumwe, former Mbeya RC, Abbas Kandoro, former  Tanga RC, Mwantumu Mahiza, Former Kigoma RC, Issa Machibya, former Geita  RC, Fatma Mwasa and Ludovick Mwanzila (Tabora) According to a statement  from the Directorate of Presidential Communications, the new RCs would  be sworn in tomorrow at 9:30 am at State House.
